Limited Warranty

 

Window& Door Inspirations, Inc. (WDI) warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship (excluding oxidation or discoloration) for a period of one year from the date of sales to the user. Finishes classified as “Lifetime” (powder coated) are warranted. “Live” finishes (antique, oil rubbed, and verdigris) may change color and texture over time. This process will enrich the appearance of your hardware and is not considered defective. This warranty shall extend only to the first retail purchaser and/or homeowner. Our only obligation will be to replace the defective product or parts upon inspection, together with proof of purchase from one of our agents dated within the warranty period. We assume no liability for any labor charges regarding the removal or reinstallation of the products; nor will we cover any freight, postage, traveling or handling expense relative to the product. Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse or malfunctions due to improper installation is not covered by this warranty. Installations should be performed by qualified installers only. Except as expressly stated herein, there is no warranty, whether expressed or implied, provided by WDI. All implied warranties including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the expressed warranty period as set forth above. The Company’s maximum liability hereunder is limited to the purchase price of the product. In no event shall the company be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any nature arising from the sale or use of the product, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise. No other person has authority to assume any obligation or liability in addition to this warranty. Some manufacturers offer additional warranty on products. Customers should contact the manufacturer after warranty expires.

 

Refunds/Returns/Exchanges

 

If your package arrives with external damage either refuse delivery or hold it in the condition received. Do not open or alter the package. Notify our Customer Service Department for instructions. We will notify the carrier who may elect to send an agent to inspect the package for in-transit damage. Carriers usually request that a package be held for 10 business days. You may wish to call the carrier to initiate a claim but we will do that as soon as notified by the customer.

 

Authorized returns of un-used, non-defective products may be made within 30 days of invoice date. A restocking fee of 25% will apply. After inspection, items deemed defective in workmanship or materials will be refunded or replaced. Items found to be damaged or used by the consumer will not be refunded.  Returned items that are found to be missing parts will be assessed restocking fees of up to 50% of purchase price. Credits and refunds to customer’s credit card will only be applied after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise. Please call customer service for return authorization (RA). The returned goods must be in the original packaging and be in saleable condition. Other than for factory defects, special or custom orders including but not limited to non-stock sizes or custom finishes and re-keyed locks may not be returned. Shipping charges are not refundable. Customer assumes all costs in shipping to us, and we assume the cost in shipping back to the customer. All replacement/repaired products are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise requested. The cost of a shipping upgrade will be paid by the customer prior to shipment. WDI is not responsible for any loss or damage due to delays or extended delivery dates of goods.

 

Returned Goods Authorization (RGA)

All requests for RGAs must be made within 30 days of original invoice date. RGA numbers are valid for 30 days from date of issuance and will not be re-issued. There is a minimum 25% restock fee, plus a freight charge, for all undamaged items returned in original condition. All returns must be accompanied with a factory issued RGA number. If a factory defect is claimed, an RGA will be issued for inspection purposes only. Any credit due will be determined upon inspection. Approved returns will be credited; re-ordered materials are billed when shipped. All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. COD returns will be refused. Special order, custom finish, or discontinued items will not be accepted for return. Should any returned merchandise be received by us damaged, you will be notified so that you can file a claim with your shipping agent or have the material returned to you. It is prudent to have the returned package insured for replacement value.   

 

Order Cancellation Policy

 

In-stock items normally ship within one day and often the same day the order is received.  Notice of order cancellation must be received within 24 hours of date of order. Notices may be submitted via email to sales@atriumparts.com, or by phoning the office at 888-934-3667. Cancellations will be documented and confirmed. Email cancellations must contain the following: first name, last name, order number and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.

 

Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, restocking and shipping fees will apply.

 

Special order products and custom made item orders are not cancelable after a period of 3 days from date of order. Such requests must be confirmed in writing. Cancellation of factory ordered product will be determined by the manufacturer and subject to the manufacturers’ penalties or fees.
